PURPOSE:To provide a disk for an information recording medium with superior mass productivity by forming a transparent coating layer having a prescribed uneven pattern for tracking information transferred from a stamper to the surface on the surface of a layer of a photo- or thermomagnetically sensitive material. CONSTITUTION:A transparent coating layer 3 having a prescribed uneven pattern for tracking information transferred from a stamper to the surface is formed on the surface of a layer 2 of a photo- or thermomagnetically sensitive material on a substrate 1 such as a glass or plastic sheet. The layer 5 is made of proper transparent plastics, and the prescribed uneven pattern is transferred from the stamper to the surface of the plastic material. For example, the layer 2 on the substrate 1 is placed opposite to the stamper having the prescribed uneven pattern on the surface at a prescribed interval, a transparent ultraviolet-curing resin is injected into the gap between the layer 2 and the stamper, and the resin is cured by irradiating ultraviolet rays to form the layer 3. |
