PURPOSE:To allow the reversed feeding of a predetermined quantity and improve the practicability by providing an intermediate feed section between a pre-processing unit and an after-processing unit handling a continuous slip and by forming buffer zones respectively between the intermediate feed section and the pre- processing and after-processing units. CONSTITUTION:An intermediate feed section 5 consisting of a pin wheel is arranged between a pre-processing unit 1 traveling to the left while recording information on a continuous slip 3 and a slitter unit 2 arranged in front of it. This intermediate feed section 5 is made drivable by a variable-speed motor 21 of the slitter unit 2 through a clutch 43, and the first and the second buffer zones Z1, Z2 are formed between this feed section 5 and the pre-processing unit 1 and the slitter unit 2. In addition, a tension arm 6 converting the storage quantity T1 of the slip 3 in the zone Z1 into an angle theta to input it to a control section 20 and a photosensor 24 sensing the presence of the slip 3 in the zone Z2 at an height H are provided, and a motor 21 and clutches 22, 23 are controlled based on their outputs. |
