PURPOSE:A powder coating composition of epoxy resin that is composed of an epoxy resin of a specific structure, a polyfunctional epoxy resin and a phenolic resin, thus giving hardened films of high flexibility and high shock resistance. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition is composed of (A) 20-95wt% of an epoxy resin which has skeltons of formula I and formula II, oxirane groups on both chain terminals and an average molecular weight of 800-4,500, (B) 1- 20wt% of a polyfunctional epoxy resin which has 2 or more oxirane groups in one molecule and (C) 4-30wt% of a phenolic resin which is represented by formula III (R2, R3, R4 are -C(CH3)2-, -CH2-; l is 1, 2, 3) and has an average molecular weight of 700-1,500.
