摘要 PURPOSE:In a grindstone where grindstone particles having high hardness are thermally molded with binder such as thermoplastic resin, to produce a grindstone having high grinding force and durability by applying silane coating onto the surface of grindstone particles then mixing the grindstones with binder and thermally molding. CONSTITUTION:In a grindstone where high hardness grindstone particles such as diamond grindstone particles, cubic boron nitride, etc. are thermally molded together with binder such as thermoplastic or thermosetting synthetic resin, silane coating is applied uniformly onto the surface of grindstone then the grindstone particles are mixed with said binder and thermally molded. Here the grindstone is formed to a grindstone wheel or other shape in accordance to the application, and in case of grindstone wheel grindstones 2 are formed in tyre around a metal disc 1. Thereafter mixture of grindstone particles 5 applied with silane and bond 6 is heated and impregnated between them 5, 6 to contact them 5, 6 tightly. Consequently crashing or dropping of grindstone particles 5 is limited to the minimum resulting in a highly hard grindstone having high grinding force and durability.
