Venting device for a combined service-brake and spring-loaded brake cylinder for vehicle braking systems, a pre-loaded spring being arranged in the spring-loaded brake cylinder and acting on a piston, the hollow piston rod of which displaces a piston rod of the service-brake cylinder by means of a thrust piece when a pre-loaded spring pressure chamber is vented. Arranged adjacent to the thrust piece in the hollow piston rod is a valve device, comprising a perforated piston which is mounted in a slidingly displaceable manner and the prolonged piston rod of which forms with a valve seat a valve which opens whenever the perforated piston is urged by the negative pressure produced in the spring space of the spring-loaded brake cylinder against the pressure of its pretensioning spring of an atmospheric pressure remaining in a separated-off partial space.
