PURPOSE:To improve the ghost suppressing effect by providing a filter same as that used to the transversal filter output to a signal route up to a process where a gate pulse is produced from an input video signal. CONSTITUTION:A signal containing a ghost is applied to a video signal input 1. One of such signals is applied to an LPF31 via a transversal filter 3, and the other one is applied to a reference signal generating circuit 5 via an LPF30 and a part M'' of a timing generating circuit. Therefore both signals are delayed by a desired degree by a subtractor 4, and the gate signal is produced from a gate pulse generating circuit M' also with a delay of a desired degree. As a result, a shift register 8 starts its operation with a delay of a desired degree and fetches a low input until a clock is produced. Then a high input is fetched from a differentiation circuit 6 and a comparator 7 after the generation of the clock. A tap gain memory 10 stores said high input. |
