PURPOSE:To prepare encapsulated plum extract effective as a remedy for diarrhoea and constipation, and easily takable continuously as a health food or beauty food, by encapsulating a W/O-type emulsion of an aqueous solution of plum extract and a food oil with an encapsulation base. CONSTITUTION:Preferably vitamin C and citric acid are added to water, and dissolved by heating. Plum extract is added to the solution and mixed homogeneously. Separately, a high-quality food oil such as safflower oil is mixed with preferably fat-soluble vitamin E, and the mixture is added and emulsified with the aqueous solution of plum extract to obtain homogeneous W/O-type emulsion. The objective product can be prepared by encapsulating the emulsion with e.g. gelatin, etc. |
