PURPOSE:To maintain a working surface clean at all times without stopping the operation of press dies by attaching turnably an arm to a die and connecting the suction port at the top end of the arm to a negative pressure pump by means of a hose. CONSTITUTION:When an upper die 7 descends toward a lower die 4, the upper die 7 contacts with a large diameter top end 14 and forces downward a piston 13 by overcoming the repulsive force of a coil spring 16. A check valve 22 is then closed and a check valve 21 is opened and therefore the negative pressure generated in a negative pressure pump body 12 by the descending piston 13 is accumulated in a surge tank 20 through a hose 19. When the rise of the die 7 is detected by a limit switch, etc., a stop valve 33 is opened and at the same time an arm 24 is turned by a motor 27. The dust, etc. sticking on the bottom surface S of the die 7 are sucked by a cup 29, and the surface S of the die is made clean. |
