PURPOSE:To simplify a control mechanism for a correction driving shaft, by constituting it so as to perform rotation stop control over the correction driving shaft in a way of combining a sector having a peripheral piece commensurate to a side motion limit range and a photoelectric element together, in case of a titled device for an electronic copying machine. CONSTITUTION:When a belt position detecting part (unillustrated herein) detects a belt's side motion and outputs a detection signal, a motor M rotates, turning a correction driving shaft 12 in the required direction, and a stretching roller is tilted to some extent via a correction setting member interlocking with this correction driving shaft 12, thus the meandering motion is corrected. At this time, the sector 16 attached to the correction driving shaft 12, having a sectorial peripheral piece commensurate to an allowable side motion limit range in the belt position detecting member also rotates. Therefore, its relative relations with a photoelectric element 17 varies. And, when a potential level of this photoelectric element 17 varies, the correction driving shaft 12 is topped. With this constitution, a driving control mechanism for the correction driving shaft is simplifiable. |
