摘要 PURPOSE:To prevent the damage of a self-excited oscillation type high voltage power source due to repetition of a shortcircuit by controlling similarly to the shortcircuiting time even after the shortcircuit is eliminated when the shortcircuit occurs at the high voltage output. CONSTITUTION:When a high voltage output is shortcircuited, an oscillation is attenuated, thereby rising the voltage of a regenerative capacitor C3, a protecting transistor TR5 becomes ON state, thereby decreasing the output voltage of a controller B. Accordingly, the oscillation output of an oscillator G decreases, and a load and a high voltage power source are protected from the shortcircuit of the high voltage output. When the transistor TR5 becomes ON state, a latchup circuit E maintains ON state. Accordingly, even if the shortcircuit of the high voltage is eliminated, the output of the controller B is controlled similarly to the shortcircuiting time.
