PURPOSE:To put on and off the power transmission mechanically, by transmitting the torque from the input shaft to an action bearer, which is fitted loosely on the output shaft and supports a coil wound round the output shaft in contact therewith, in such a way capable of stopping said action bearer at any time. CONSTITUTION:Coils 12, 12' are wound round an output shaft 4 in contact therewith, and ends 13, 13' of these coils 12, 12' are detained by ratchets 5, 5' working as action bearer, while the other ends are left free. Rotatable detent pieces 14, 14' are fit loosely on a shaft 15 installed in parallel with the output shaft 4, and when their rotation allow engagement of one edge with pawls 6, 6' of the retchets 5, 5', they stop rotating. Engagement/disengagement of these detent pieces 14, 14' with/from ratchets 5, 5' is made with connecting rods 16, 16' interlocked with a load change sensing mechanism. |
