PURPOSE:To enable the utilization of a new timer function by controlling the rotating action of a reference motor for a timer depending on the operation of a sound stop switch at a timepiece construction unit. CONSTITUTION:A timepiece apparatus with a timer comprises a timepiece construction unit and a timer construction unit. In the timepiece construction unit, output of an oscillation circuit 10 applied to a coil 16 through a division circuit 12, a waveform shaping circuit 14 and inverters 15a and 15b to drive a step motor 17 for the timepiece. On the other hand, the timer construction unit has an oscillation circuit 40, a division circuit 42 and a waveform shaping circuit 44 and a step motor 47 for the timer is driven with a coil 46. The rotating action of the step motor 47 for the timer is controlled with a timer contact 52. In other words, when a user turns a timer display panel 50 to the timer-set rotation, the step motor 47 for the time is operated. |
