PURPOSE:Placentas are minced, bled, treated with a protease, the resultant slurry is combined with alcohol containing propylene glycol and a surfactant, stood, then filtered to give the titled extract that is high in alcohol concentration and can be added to a hair tonic. CONSTITUTION:Placentas are minced, bled into a paste, treated with a protease at 40-60 deg.C for 1-2hr to decompose the placenta tissues into a fluid paste. Then, 100pts of the paste is combined, under stirring, with an alcohol mixture composed of 20-30pts. of propylene glycol, 20-30pts. of a surfactant of 6- 15HLB and 300-350pts. of alcohol and they are stood for 2-3days, then filtered to give a placenta extract containing 60-70% of alcohol. The resultant extract is directly or, after combined with water or alcohol to an appropriate alcohol concentration, added to a hair tonic base to give the poduct. |
