PURPOSE:To have smooth feed of roll paper by installing a comb-shaped guide consisting of an elastic material between the roll paper and transport means. CONSTITUTION:A comb-shaped guide 20 consisting of an elastic material is installed between a roll paper 1 loaded in a paper feed device and a pair of transport means 3, 4. Part of cogs 21 formed in this guide 20 will be in contact with the paper under transportation and cause deformation to it as well as the remaining cogs retain the paper at its both sides. Accordingly the paper can be fed in the proper direction even though stop of the paper feed has yielded slackness in the paper owing to the inertia force, because the paper is held by said comb- shaped guide 20. |
