PURPOSE:To obtain an electrophotographic sensitive body having superior durability and moisture resistance by using polyolefin resin having a specified mol.wt. and a specified acid value as a binder for a photoconductive material. CONSTITUTION:A photoconductive layer is formed using polyolefin resin having 5,000-80,000 average mol.wt. and 5-30 acid value as a binder for an inorg. photoconductive material such as CdS or an org. photoconductive material such as phthalocyanine or other org. dye. The polyolefin resin is prepd. by (graft-) copolymerizing an ethylene, propylene or ethylene-propylene chain with a small amount of acrylic acid. By this method an electrophotographic sensitive body having superior moisture resistance and durability is simply manufactured. |
