The conveyor belt 1 consists of a rough belt 5, on whose top side there are vulcanised dogs 7 situated transverse to the lengthwise direction of the belt. The dogs are moulded in a cover layer 11 of crude rubber, which is vulcanised on the surface of the rough belt 5 in the entire width of the belt 1. The dogs are placed in a region around the centre of the conveyor belt 1 that is slightly broader than the width of the retaining rollers 4 of the net gear. The dogs have a depth less than the thickness of the cover layer 11. The outer edges 12 of the belt, on both sides of the region with the dogs 7, which carry the net's top lines 9, are planar. The dogs can be sawtooth-shaped with the teeth facing forward in the direction of circulation of the belt 1. The transport belt is resistant to influences from both the net itself, which besides fish can contain shellfish, pebbles, and other sharp objects, and from the net's top lines. This prevents the transport belt from being torn open and the net threads from getting hooked on the conveyor belt and torn. <IMAGE>
