In this apparatus, the coil former which supports the winding and consists of plastic is inserted into the metallic yoke and can be fixed by means of at least one spacer which is to be fitted between the yoke and one of the coil former flanges. In order that fitting spacers are always available and in order to be able to carry out rapid securing of the coil former in the yoke, the spacer is injection moulded on the coil former flange such that it is essentially ready for installation.
