PURPOSE:To enable a plurality of heat-shrinkable hollow bodies to be produced, by forming at a common blower mouth section a base material provided integrally a plurality of hollow elements, inflating the hollow elements by a pressurized fluid from the common blower mouth section followed by cooling to cause the hollow elements to be heat-shrinkable. CONSTITUTION:A base material (A) is produced by injection molding, compression molding or transfer molding. The base material (A) is inserted into a mold (B) having four inflation and molding sections 21 and a common blower mouth 20. Then the base material (A) is heated to or above its melting point, a pressurized gas or liquid is injected from the common blower mouth 20 into the heated base material so that the end cap elements 11 of the base material (A) are inflated until the elements 11 come in contact with the inner surfaces of the inflation and molding sections 21, and with the inflated state kept the elements are cooled. Then the base material is removed from the mold, and the end caps are cut off to obtain four heat-shrinkable end caps at one time. |
