PURPOSE:To suppress the vibration of a step motor by applying the final synchronizing drive pulse in case of throwing down the motor, then applying a stop pulse in the vicinity of the maximum value of the overshoot of the motor to stop the motor. CONSTITUTION:A step motor 1 is synchronously driven by synchronous drive pulses Q5-Q24. When the delivery of the final synchronous drive pulse Q24 is finished, it is waited for the time t4, a stop pulse Q25 is generated, applied to the motor 1 and the motor is stopped. Here, the waiting time t4 is set so that the stop pulse Q25 is applied in the vicinity of the top position W of the overshoot in the step responding characteristic after the final synchronizing pulse Q24 is applied. |
