摘要 PURPOSE:To prevent vibration of a body upon lockup in all operating range of an engine by a method wherein a damper means, whose spring constant becomes small during low revolution of the engine and the same becomes large during middle and high revolutions of the engine, is provided in the clutch. CONSTITUTION:A clutch plate 3 is provided so as to be opposed to a converter cover 2. The clutch plate 3 is connected to a speed change gear input shaft 7 through a rubber damper 6 having a small spring constant and is pushed toward the converter cover 2 by a hydraulic pressure in a converter space 11. According to this method, an engine output is transmitted to the speed change gear input shaft 7 through the rubber damper 6 when the revolution of the engine is low and the hydraulic pressure is not acting in a plate space 10. When the revolution of the speed change gear input shaft 7 exceeds a predetermined value, a centrifugal clutch 4 is operated and the engine output is transmitted to the speed change gear input shaft 7 through a spring damper 5 having a high spring constant.
