Reactive disazo compds. of formula (I) are prepd. by diazotizing free acid aromatic amines of formula (II) and coupling the diazotized prods. with free acid monoazo compds. of formula (III)). R1 is H, Cl, or SO3H. R2 is H, CH3, or SO3H. X is β- sulfatoethyl, β-thiosulfatoethyl, β-phosphatoethyl, or vinyl. Y is Cl or F. Z is Cl, F, or Z1 (Z1 is amino, C1-4 mono- or dialkyl amino, anilyno, C1-4 alkoxy, phenoxy, C1-4 alkylthio, or phenylthio). Q is N, C-Cl, or C-F when Z is Cl or F, and is N when Z is Z1.
