PURPOSE:To provide a gas sealed damper in which a valve body is firmly pressed by a crank mechanism and a resilient member against a valve seat disposed all around the inner surface on a cross section of a damper cylinder. CONSTITUTION:When a shaft 11 disposed eccentrically from the center of a damper cylinder 6 is rotated in the direction of an arrow, even though the valve body 9 tends to vibrate due to a gas flow, the valve body 9 is rotated as dictated by the rotation angle of the shaft 11 to a fully closed position with an area 19 proximate to the third corner of a crank 15. When the shaft 11 is rotated in the direction opposite to the arrow, the resilient member 20 is flexed to produce a reaction against the torque so that the valve body 9 may be fully closed by being pressed against a valve seat 8 with the valve seat 8 near to a crank pin 12 and other bearing member 21 as a pivot. |
