PURPOSE:To have partial opening of a throttle valve of an engine, in which the fuel is cut during deceleration, surely by installing a throttle valve full-closed sensing switch at a rod for opening a neg.-pressure operated throttle valve. CONSTITUTION:In an engine in which the fuel is cut, if the condition of engine deceleration sensed from such data as the number of revolutions, position of speed change gear, clutching position and the degree of opening of throttle valve requires, the throttle valve is simultaneously shifted to a minor opened position from the full-closed position so as to prevent evaporation of all the fuel in the suction pipe because of high degree of vacuum inside the pipe. A throttle valve degree-of-opening switch 6 to be actuated at this time is installed between a valve operating rod 5b and a lever 3a of throttle valve 3, which lever shall push a follower member 18 when the throttle valve 3 is fully closed, to cause disconnection of a fixed contact 16d and movable contact 18d, so that the chamber 5a in a diaphragm 5 is changed over from negative pressure to the atmospheric to lead to depression of the whole switch 6. Now the throttle valve 3a will be opened a little through the action of said lever 3a. |
