PURPOSE:To keep a trimmer gap with always high accuracy and to obtain copies with fine picture quality by arranging magnets close to the surface of a tracking roll and a contact part of a photosensitive drum with the tracking roll. CONSTITUTION:In a developing device, the magnets 5, 4 are arranged close to the surface of the tracking roll 2 and the contact part 11 of the photosensitive drum 1 with the tracking roll 2. Namely, a magnetic chip 6 is arranged close to the surface of the tracking roll 2 and a magnetic chip 3 is arranged close to the contact part 11 of the photosensitive drum 1 with the tracking roll 2. In the device, these magnetic chips attract an adhered magnetic developer to keep the surface of the tracking roll and the contact part of the photosensitive drum with the tracking roll clean, so that the trimmer gap is kept at high accuracy and fine picture quality can be obtained. |
