PURPOSE:To decrease the amount of tests by recording a signal at three points at an interval of N/4-1 to required step numbers N, detecting its maximum signal, repeating recording and reproduction at three points at an interval of (preceding interval -1)/2 around the point of the preceding maximum signal taken as a center in the succeeding test and using the maximum signal at an interval 0 as the peak value. CONSTITUTION:In case of the desired step numbers N=64, the bias amount is varied and the signal is recorded and detected at three points of 16, 32 and 48 at an interval of 15 as shown in a figure (a). When a signal of the step 32 is detected as the peak value in this measurement I , the signal is recorded and reproduced as shown in a figure (b) at three points of 24, 32 and 40 at an interval of 7 in the next measurement II. Similarly, recording and reproduction are repeated at three points at an interval of (preceding interval -1)/2 taking the step of the peak value detected by the preceding measurement as the center to detect each peak value as shown in figures (d), (e), and the step 37 detected in the measurement [V] as shown in a figure (e) is decided as the peak value by repeating the measurement until the interval reaches 0. |
