PURPOSE:To make it possible to form a nozzle opening part into an arbitrary configuration, by a method wherein a nozzle chip main body having a side opening provided to the side part thereof in the leading end spray opening part thereof is cast and, thereafter, the leading end opening part is inspected and corrected through the side opening before said side opening is subsequently closed. CONSTITUTION:After a nozzle chip main body 1 having a side opening 3 provided to the side part thereof in the vicinity of the leading end spray opening part 2 is cast, the leading end opening part 2 is inspected and corrected through the side opening 3 which is, in turn, subsequently closed. By this method, the nozzle opening part can be formed into an arbitrary configuration and mechanical processing can be dispensed with and th limitation from material quality in production is reduced. In addition, the same quality product can be produced in a mass production system and production cost in made inexpensive. However, necessary production accuracy can still be sufficiently secured.
