PURPOSE:To provide a paste compsn. which can form nearly fully imidated polyimide film and can be subjected to screen printing, by using a specified solvent- soluble polyimide as a binder component and blending a specified fine polyimide powder therewith. CONSTITUTION:A slurry of spherical porous polyimide particles which have the max. particle size of 40mum or below and an average particle of 10mum or below and are heat-infusible and insoluble in org. solvents, obtd. by polymerizing an arom. tetracarboxylic acid dianhydride and an arom. polyisocyanate in an org. solvent with heating, or a polyimide powder obtd. by directly filtering or centrifuging said slurry, is blended with an org. solvent soln. of a solvent-soluble polyimide obtd. by subjecting a tetracarboxylic acid dianhydride component contg. at least 25mol% of 2,3,3',4'-biphenyltetracarboxylic dianhydride and a diamine component contg. 0.1-10mol% of a silicondiamine of the formula to a dehydration-polycondensation reaction.
