摘要 The bioelectrical electrode arrangement comprises an electrode body (25) made of a metal and/or a material which contains carbon and conducts electrons, and, on one face of the electrode body (25), an ion-conducting contact electrolyte layer (29) intended for resting on the skin. The contact electrolyte layer contains a salt, which forms iodine ions, of a metal contained at least in the regions of the electrode body (25) adjacent to the contact electrolyte layer (29). The contact electrolyte layer (29) and at least the regions of the electrode body (25) adjacent to the contact electrolyte layer (29) may alternatively jointly contain substances which form iodine ions. The substances which form iodine ions are preferably iodides. Expediently, the electrode body (25) is composed of two electrode layers (33, 35) which are situated opposite one another in sheet form, separated from one another by an ion-conducting electrolyte interlayer (37) and are made of a metal- and/or plastic-containing material which conducts electrons. The first electrode layer (35) is connected to an electrical supply conductor (27) and the second electrode layer (33) supports the contact electrolyte layer (29) intended for resting on the skin on its face remote from the first electrode layer (35).
