Device for transferring bolt-shaped parts, such as screws, weld bolts, rivets, stud bolts and the like, from a collet into an assembly position. To transfer bolt-shaped parts (12) from a collet (20), which on account of its dimensions cannot be moved itself into the assembly position, the clamping jaws (26) in each case holding a part (12) are flexibly preloaded into the holding position. An ejector rod (28) provided with a magnet (50) at its front end is allocated to the collet (20). The ejector rod (28) can be pushed forward - through the collet (20) - in a power-actuated manner to bear against the part (12) held between the clamping jaws (26) and can then be pushed forward into the assembly position while taking the part with it, where the part (12) is taken off the magnet (50) and the ejector rod (28) is pulled back into the initial position. <IMAGE>
