PURPOSE:To obtain a durable tank body for a heat exchanger by preventing corrosion on the edge of metallic plate, by applying a bonding agent consisting of a specified material on the outer edge of a metallic plate. CONSTITUTION:A primer coat of which principal component is tri-iso-cyanate is coated on the surface of the open edge of a tank body 4. The open edge is bonded to the outer edge of a metallic plate 3 by a bonding agent, of which principal components hardening type silicon resin reacting by adding two-part resin, being applied between them. The bonding agent contains molecular chain end hydrogen-base organopolysiloxane as a hardening agent, as well as to contain molecular chain end vinyl-base organopolysiloxane as a principal agent. The metallic plate 3 and the tank body 4 are firmly bonded to each other by the intermediary of the primer and the layer of the bonding agent. The bonding agent contains a catalyst of platinum or a platinum compound such as chloroplatinic acid, and inorganic filler content such as fumed silica or calcium carbonate in order to control the viscocity of the bonding agent and for the purpose to speed up a bonding work. |
