FUEL INJECTION TIMING CONTROLLING APPARATUS

PURPOSE:To reduce the number of component parts by making common use of a means for detecting a reference turning angle position and a means for detecting the engine speed. CONSTITUTION:The timing at which combustion of fuel injected into a cylinder is started is detected by a fuel combustion detector 2b, and a reference turning angle position and the engine speed are both detected by a means 2a for detecting the reference turning angle position. The fuel injection timing is controlled such that the actual combustion timing detected by the combustion timing detector 2b is simultaneous with the aimed combustion timing detected by the means 2a. By employing such an arrangement, it is enabled to reduce the number of component parts.
