The multi-way valve, in particular a 4/2-way valve, is built up in a sandwich construction and contains several valve units (6-9), designed as diaphragm valves, in a parting plane between two housing parts (3 and 4) which is sealed off by a sealing plate (2). An individual valve unit is formed from a thicker section (13; 14; 15; 16) of the sealing plate (2) with valve-piston function and an elastically extensible annular section (97) of the sealing plate (2) between the thicker piston section and the sealing plate with a pure sealing function, the annular section (97) having a spring-like restoring function in the direction of the valve seat. <IMAGE>
