PURPOSE:To obtain a low-cost and highly reliable printing hammer by using a system in which a link mechanism is moved in a rocking manner by deformation caused by the electrostatic polarization action of piezoelectric element to obtain displacement necessary for printing. CONSTITUTION:When applying a voltage between the terminals 14 and 14' of the electrodes 15 and 15' of a piezoelectric element 1, the piezoelectric element 1 is shrunk, the side 7 is moved, the side 5 connected with a hinge 6 is clockwise turned, and a movable link 4 and a printing pin 3 are projected to the right side. The constitution of the printing hammer can be simplified by connecting the sides of a parallelogram by hinges 6, 10, 11 and 12, the life can be lengthened, and the reliability can be raised. |
