摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain a high-speed tool steel having improved grindability without reducing the amount of V by adding specified amounts of C, Si, Mn, Cr, W, Mo, V and N and specifying the value of K. CONSTITUTION:This high-speed tool steel consists of, by weight, 0.9-1.4% C, 0.1-1.0% Si, 0.1-1.0% Mn, 3-7% Cr, 0.5-7% W, 6-12% Mo (18%<=W+Mo<= 25%), 1.8-3.6% V and the balance Fe with <=0.05% one or more among B, Ti and Zr. In case of 0.9-1.15% C and 1,8-2.25% V, the composition of the steel is regulated so as to satisfy K>=0.95 (K=0.21Mo+0.12W-17.7M-0.13C-0.35V). In case of 1.0-1.25% C and 2.25-2.8% V, the composition is regulated so as to satisfy K>=0.70, and in case of 1.15-1.40% C and 2.8-3.6% V, the composition is regulated so as to satisfy K>=0.6. By the regulated composition the grindability of the high-speed tool steel for a cutting tool can be improved.
