PURPOSE:To obtain a device with sufficient flexibility by enabling a work to be surely clamped on a pallet by increasing a clamp stroke in the automatic fluting clamp of a flexible production system. CONSTITUTION:A coupling 25 is provided on one end of a rotating shaft 24 turning interlocking with a nut runner 12 inside a clamp box 21 of a clamper 7 for clamping a work 5 placed on a pallet 4, and a worm 26 provided in the middle of said rotating shaft. A worm wheel 29 and a spur gear 30 are fitted on a transmission shaft 27 perpendicular to the rotating shaft 24. Further, screw shafts 31, 32 possessing the same screw pitch or different pitches from each other are arranged standing on both sides holding the transmission shaft 27 between themselves. Transmission gears 33, 34 engaging with the spur gear 30 are threaded on the middle of these shafts 31, 32, and the shafts 31, 32 are elevated by making use of the rotation of the gears 33, 34, enabling a clamp arm 35 to be elevated.
