A procedure for the production of bodies of a mixed material containing fusible plastic such as principally binding agents and a non-fusible in particle form, preferably a fibrous substance. The plastic has the form of particles, such as powder particles or granular, which is uniformly mixed with the particles of the fibrous substance. The particle mixture (27) is given a soft, ductile form by the addition of water and is formed into the intended adapted shape of a cavity (31), for example. After this the shaped substance is exposed to a high frequency electric current from a generator (36), which results in dispersal of at least the main part of the water and causes the plastic to fuse, so that the substance assumes a permanent shape and forms into the required body. In addition, there is a device (32) for the execution of the procedure comprising a mould (32) with a moulding area (31) for the mixing of the particles.
