PURPOSE:To manufacture a diaphragm cover efficiently while reducing the manufacturing costs and improving the reliability of the product, by manufacturing the diaphragm cover by forming a cover body and a nozzle body having a fluid passage integrally with each other. CONSTITUTION:A diaphragm cover 100 is composed of a cylindrical, main cover body 101 having a flange 102 at its peripheral portion and a portion 103 expanded concentrically in the manner that the diameter is reduced stepwise and a nozzle body 104 formed at the central portion of the portion 103 integrally with the same and having a fluid passage 105 bent in parallel to the main cover body 101. In manufacturing the cover 100, a flat metal blank is at first punched into a circular form having a required diameter. Then, the main cover body 101 and the nozzle body 104 are formed in a unitary manner by drawing the punched blank successively and continuously. Thereafter, the nozzle body 104 is bent in parallel to the main cover body 101 after puching out a fluid passage at the top of the nozzle body 104 at its central portion. |
