PURPOSE:To enhance steering characteristics by quickening communication of a pump with power cylinder using a sleeve moving oppositely to the direction, in which a control valve spool operates, through the action of reactive force, and thereby preventing improper flow of pressure oil owing to delay in actuation of the spool. CONSTITUTION:If a control valve spool 24 slides either to the right or left following the rotation of a steering wheel, the internal pressure in one of the reactive force chambers 25, 26 situated on the side toward which said sliding is made will rise. Because a slide sleeve 18 slides oppositely to the direction, in which the spool 24 slides, through the action of said pressure rise, communication of the sleeve 18 with ports 19, 20 and spool groove 28 is made quickly. Thus improper flow of pressure oil owing to delay in actuation of the spool 24 can be prevented to ensure enhancement of the steering characteristics. |
