PURPOSE:To enable to set a paper onto a platen speedily and easily and reduce the number of component parts, by a method wherein a pressure roller and a feeding roller for a paper are simultaneously interlocked by operating a single paper-setting lever. CONSTITUTION:A shaft end 62 of the pressure roller 22 is fitted to a supporting piece 61 provided at the upper end of the paper-setting lever 20, and a toggle spring 65 presses the roller 22 against the platen 16. A shaft end 70 of the feeding roller 69 is fitted to an end part 67a of an oscillating cam 67, and is energized toward the center of the platen 16 by a tension spring 71. When the lever 20 is rotated in the direction of an arrow with a shaft 60 as a center to a slanted position indicated by two-dotted lines where a projected part 63 thereof comes into contact with a stopping shaft 66, an acting shaft 64 abuts against the other end part 67b of the cam 67, and the cam 67 is oscillated clockwise with a fitting shaft 68 thereof as a center. Thus, the feeding roller 69 pressed against the platen 16 is slightly separated from the platen 16 simultaneously with the pressure roller 22, so that the paper can be wound around the platen 16. |
