Water tap for regulating water pumped from a storage tank by means of an electric pump, especially for mobile use, with a potentiometer which can be operated by way of a rotary knob and is connected upstream of the electric pump. The electric pump is subjected to different voltages according to the position of this potentiometer, as a result of which the delivery of this pump and hence the quantity of water flowing out is varied. The invention therefore does not require any valve and any seals for regulating the quantity of water.
