In the case of an eccentric spiral pump a torque transmission device is provided between the rotor and a drive shaft. The torque transmission device comprises two rotationally rigid differential clutches which are connected to one another by way of a shaft. Each differential clutch comprises end toothed bevel gears which intermesh. For adjustment of the axial backlash of the shaft backlash adjustment screws are used which cause the shaft with the two opposing backlash adjustment screws to act as a continuous tensioning element, the length of which remains constant and adjustable.
