Anti-skid chain for vehicle tyres

At one end of a ring (1) made of a dimensionally stable, flexible material, a hook (2) is attached and at the other end a tensioning chain (5) which is sheared with the aid of a deflection roller (4) as a pulley is attached. In order to close the open ring (1), the loop of the tensioning chain (5) is coupled directly into the hook (2). An outer chain (7) which is open at two points (8, 9) serves as the front holder of the chain sections (6) which extend over the tread of the tyre. In order to close the first open position (8), a hook (10) and an eyelet (11) are provided. In order to close the second open position (10), two eyelets (12) are provided through which the tensioning chain (5) is fed. The anti-skid chain can be fitted without the vehicle having to be moved. <IMAGE>
