PURPOSE:To obtain the complicated input/output nonlinear characteristics by arraying plural linear and nonlinear routes in parallel to each other to attain a multiple constitution and giving the vector synthesization to the outputs of these routes. CONSTITUTION:A signal supplied to a terminal 1 is divided into three parts by a 3-port branching circuit 2. One of these three signals is supplied to a linear circuit 100 consisting of a linear amplifier 3 and a delay circuit; while other two signals are supplied to nonlinear routes 200a and 200b consisting of nonlinear amplifiers 5 and 51, level setting circuits 6 and 61, variable phase shifters 7 and 71 and delay circuits 41 and 42, respectively. The outputs of these routes 100, 200a and 200b undergo the vector synthesization through a synthesizing circuit 8. The inputs of amplifiers 3, 5 and 51 are small, and output signal vectors of those routes are set at e2-e4 respectively during linear operations. However the outputs of amplifiers 5 and 51 receive distortions of amplitude and phase as the inputs increase to the amplifiers 5 and 51. Thus the output vectors are set at e'3 and e'4, and the signal vector synthesized by the circuit 8 is set at e'0. |
