Melt-spinning apparatus for producing a set of filament yarns

What is described is a melt-spinning apparatus, by means of which it is possible, with a very high hole density of the spinneret bores, to spin out filament yarns which are then bunched to form spun cables. The spinning apparatus, which has a rectangular spinneret plate (2) and, depending on the bore diameter, can have a hole density of more than 50 spinneret bores per cm<2> of the spinneret bore zone, is characterised in that the spinneret plate (2) possesses, parallel to a longitudinal edge, a lane (4) which bisects the narrow side and is free of spinneret bores and along which is arranged a separating web (3) extending into the yarn-solidifying zone in the yarn exit direction. The blowing nozzles (5) are designed as flat nozzles and are arranged opposite one another and essentially symmetrically to the separating web (3) and are directed at the produced yarn sets (7, 8) perpendicularly or transversely to the exit direction of the filament yarns. <IMAGE>
