The shear reinforcing element for point-loaded panels is in the form of a reinforcing strip (1) which is helically bent in a plurality of turns and has an upper flange (2), a lower flange (3) and transverse connectors (4), e.g. of a filler wall, connecting these flanges in a frictionally locking manner. All the turns of the reinforcing strip (1) are connected to one another in a frictionally locking manner and fixed in their mutual positions, on at least one of the surfaces defined by the two flanges (2, 3) by bars (7, 8) which are arranged so as to diverge in the form of rays. <IMAGE>
