PURPOSE:To improve a painting-out speed of the inside of a polygon by obtaining an intermediate signal containing the mode inclination information of a segment between two points, a signal train of every intersection to an operation line, and a point coordinate having mode information which can execute easily a recording scan, and converting them to a scan sequential binary signal. CONSTITUTION:With respect to a point coordinate group for constituting a polygon outline, the first intermediate signal containing mode information is obtained at every segment for connecting two points, and subsequently, it is converted to the second intermediate signal containing inclination information, for instance, a rearrangement conforming to a recording order is executed to the first intermediate signal or the second intermediate signal through a memory, subsequently, it is converted to the third intermediate signal with a flag, which has represented a segment by a point sequence, and also it is converted to the fourth intermediate signal being a point coordinate signal accompanied by the mode information which can execute easily a recording scan. Subsequently, the fourth intermediate signal is written, for instance, in a RAM, read out in case of the recording scan, and the mode information which the fourth intermediate signal has is detected or accumulated as a code, by which a scanning line sequential binary signal of '0' of '1' is obtained. |
