An improved process is provided by the present inventon. The improvement embraces a water-agglomeration process for efficiently preparing a comestible mix wherein the sweetening agent is a dipeptide sweetener (APM). The method utilizes an agglomeration vehicle, consisting essentially of water, thereby providing a low calorie comestible mix that has enhanced solubility characteristics.
