PURPOSE:To improve fixing performance by arranging at least one opening part for sucking copying paper in front of and behind the peak of a curved surface which forms the projected surface of a heating plate and providing a heating mechanism between the suction opening parts near the peak point of the curved surface. CONSTITUTION:Transfer paper after being transferred is separated from a photosensitive drum 1, guided clockwise around a separation roller 2, and sent to the heating plate 6 through a guide plate 3 and feed rollers 4 and 5. Then, copy paper is guided on a recessed surface part 6a by a guide roller 7 to pass over the projected surface part 6b. At this time, the paper is sucked by suction opening parts 14b and 14c provided in front of and behind the peak point 16 of the curved surface of the projected surface part 6b to contact the heating plate 6 securely. Then, it is heated by a sheathed heater embedded in the heating plate 6 between the suction opening parts 14b and 14c. Thus, the efficiency of heat conduction from the heating plate to the copy paper is improved to obtain high fixing performance. |
