<p>PURPOSE:To make it possible to freely set an amount of hot water storage by an arrangement in which hot water spouting from a return pipe is decelerated and redirects its flow from downward to sideward to diffuse laterally by means of a diffuser plate so that hot water at a higher temperature may stay in a layer in a upper part of a hot water reservoir. CONSTITUTION:A hot water reservoir 1 is provided which has a water inlet 7 in a lower part and a hot water outlet 8 in the top, and a heat source 2 to heat the water and a circulation pump 4 are provided in a pipe which connects the lower and upper parts of the hot water reservoir 1. An end of said pipe is inseted into the hot water reservoir 1, and a diffuser plate 11 is disposed nearly horizontaly in a position which opposes the opening of the pipe. By this arrangement, hot water from the heat source to the hot water reservoir is redirected its flow in a lateral direction by the diffuser plate as well as being decelerated. Therefore, as there will be no convection or agitation in the reservoir, the hot water stays in a layer in a upper part, allowing a free setting of the hot water storage amount.</p> |
