PURPOSE:To prepare a paraffin wax-like powdered fuel economically from used polyethylene products, etc., by utilizing combustible high-temperature gas generated when thermal cracking reaction is accelerated. CONSTITUTION:A raw material A (a mixture of self-burning polyethylene and polyethylene for thermal cracking) is fed from a shoot 4 into a combustion basket 7 and is ignited. The resultant paraffin wax-like melt in a liquid state B is made to drop through holes 12 of a drip tray 8 into a thermal cracking acceleration basket 11. After temporary stay in the basket, the paraffin wax-like melt C is made to drop into a receiving tank 2 for storage. The melts B and C undergo thermal cracking and generated combustible high-temperature gas G rises through the baskets 11 and 7 and is burned together with air supplied through holes 10 to produce a high temperature within the basket 7. The melt C after complete thermal cracking is drawn out through taking-out apertures 3, 4 and 5, cooled and powdered into paraffin wax-like powder fuel. |
